A loving foster home for 6 beautiful children. The vision of the parents, John and Joanne Schultz, is to create a real family environment for the children.
Johan and Elizma Boucher opened their home to abandoned, ill and traumatized children in 2007. Johan passed away suddenly in 2009, however Elizma decided to continue with their dream of managing a safe house. Despite battling breast cancer herself, Elizma cared for more than 300 children over these years. Sadly, she passed away in January 2018.
Fortunately a caring non-profit organisation, Nceda Phambili NPO, and a committee with dedicated volunteers stepped in to temporarily take care of the children during this difficult time. With God’s grace a loving couple, John & Joanne Schultz, offered to foster the children and moved in with them in January 2018.
They consider the children to be part of their family and will care for them as they did their now two adult children. John & Joanne want to empower the children to become balanced, happy and functional members of society where they too can use the gifts and talents God has given them to make a difference in the lives of others.
